No longer do we need library cards or encyclopedia subscriptions to access the data we want. Advancements in internet technologies have given us the ability to access any data we want, wherever we want. The speed at which we are now able to retrieve content is increasing faster than the content's actual size. This means everything is downloaded quicker and is definitely more visually appealing than text-only websites that dial-up (*shudders*) once graciously gave us.
BI products and services we offer our customers are capable of analyzing large amounts of data in no time, and the speeds will only increase -- according to Moore's law, transistor counts and densities on processors are set to double every 2-3 years. This means more data can be stored in higher detail and quality without bogging down the processing times of BI tools.
With all of the technological advancements already here and the advancements on the horizon, the future is bright for BI and DW tools and our ability at BIS3 to deliver even higher quality services to our customers.
